What is a Hybrid Classroom?

A Hybrid Classroom is one where the students meet face-to-face with the teacher, has extensive internet content, uses only relevant technology and strives to provide real world context so students leave skilled, knowledgeable and well prepared.

This Community is for everyone who wants to discuss best practices in a hybrid classroom, ask questions and collaborate in innovative education projects.

The Internet Tech Tools Rubric I Use

It is very difficult to choose what Internet tools to include in they Hybrid Classroom. I struggled for years and tried all sorts of stuff. Many of the tools were very cool but did not really help my students. Most were simply too complicated and/or irrelevant to my students.
